How does your website actually look?

Most small-business websites look like they were built in 2014 — because they were. Get the score in 30 seconds. If your site needs work, we rebuild it from $1,000.

How to read your score

The number tells you, in one glance, where your site sits relative to a customer's expectations in 2026.

0–39

Hurting you

Customers are bouncing before they read a word. The site is actively costing you business.

40–59

Dated

Functional but feels old. You're losing the customers who compare you to a competitor with a modern site.

60–79

Solid

Decent foundation. Targeted fixes — usually contact prominence or trust signals — get you over the line.

80–100

Modern

You're doing the work. The report still flags any quick wins, but you're not the problem.

What we check

Looks Modern

Does your site look like it was built this decade? Dated design makes customers question whether you're still in business.

Contact Prominence

Can a customer call or email you in one click? If your phone number is buried in a footer, you're losing calls.

Trust Signals

Reviews, certifications, and social proof build confidence. Without them, visitors bounce to a competitor who shows theirs.

Mobile Readiness

Over half your visitors are on phones. If the site doesn't work on mobile, you're invisible to most of your customers.

FAQ

Is this safe? Will scanning slow my site down?

We make a single HTTP request — same as a normal visitor. Your site won't notice.

Who pays for this? What's the catch?

If you score low and want a fix, we'd love to quote you. No obligation. The scan is free; the rebuild is paid.

What does "looks like 2014" actually mean?

Image sliders, tiny text, cluttered layouts — visual patterns that customers associate with outdated businesses.

Can I scan a site I don't own?

Technically yes — we just load a public URL. But respect the target site's terms of service.

Why don't I score 100/100?

Almost nobody scores 100. The score shows where the low-hanging fruit is — check your Quick Wins.

How is this different from a Google Lighthouse audit?

Lighthouse measures technical performance. Sitescore measures what customers actually see and feel. Different tools, different audiences.

Who built this

Most small-business websites — plumbers, dentists, contractors, med spas — look like they were built in 2014. Because they were. The owners know it. They haven't fixed it because a redesign costs $5K–$15K and takes weeks. Meanwhile, customers judge the business in three seconds.

We built sitescore because there was no cheap, fast, honest way for an SMB owner to get a real assessment. The "free SEO audit" tools give 47-page PDFs full of jargon nobody acts on. We wanted something a plumber could read on their phone between jobs and actually understand.

We're a small operation. We don't have fifty case studies yet. What we have is plain-English assessments, fixed-price rebuilds, and a delivery clock measured in days, not months. The scan is free. If the score is bad and you want a fix, we'd love to quote you.
