Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

The short version

Sitescore is a free tool. Use it at your own risk. Reports are public. Don't be a jerk.

Use at your own risk

Sitescore provides automated assessments of publicly accessible websites. These assessments are generated by an AI model and represent an opinion, not a professional audit. We make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any report. Don't make a $15K business decision based solely on a score from a free tool.

Reports are public

Every report generated by sitescore is publicly accessible via its URL. There is no way to make a report private or delete it. By submitting a URL for scanning, you acknowledge that the resulting report will be public.

Scanning sites you don't own

Sitescore makes a single HTTP request to the submitted URL — the same type of request any web browser makes. However, some websites have terms of service that prohibit automated access. If you scan a site you don't own, it's your responsibility to ensure you're not violating that site's terms. Don't use sitescore to repeatedly scan sites you don't own or control.

Rate limits

We rate-limit scans by IP address to prevent abuse. If you're hitting rate limits, you're using the tool more than intended. Don't try to circumvent rate limits.

Liability

Sitescore is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. In no event shall sitescore, its creators, or its operators be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the use of this service. You use sitescore entirely at your own risk.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of sitescore after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
